Peaceful Kids - Mindfulness & Positive Psychology Program

The Peaceful Kids program is a mindfulness and positive psychology based program to lessen anxiety and stress and increase resilience in children. This program helps children to build their emotional resilience so they are better equipped to deal with the day to day stresses that life brings them. Our school counsellor is now starting the next eight week course for small group Peaceful Kids sessions with Stage 2 students. Teachers or parents may nominate a student/child to participate in the program.

    School Photos

School photos were sent home with your child yesterday. If you haven't received your order, please contact the school office. Also a reminder that NAPLAN reports for Years 3 and 5 were sent out last week.

    Now Enrolling for Kindergarten  2026

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, if you have a younger child starting kindergarten in 2026, please complete the online enrolment form. This important step ensures a smooth transition for your little ones into their educational journey. Click here to access the form and submit your enrolment details. Thank you for being a part of our school community!

    Week 2 Update

    Stage 2 English

In English this term, Year 3 and 4 have been reading The Callers by Kiah Thomas. Students have been focusing on how the author describes each character's appearance, personality, actions and emotional attributes. Throughout the novel, students will continue to add to character profiles as more information is presented and as some characters grow and develop.

In addition to our novel study, each day begins with a 45 minute literacy lesson. Students work in small groups on a variety of tasks that develop their spelling, reading fluency and comprehension, grammar, and vocabulary. This term students are excited to be doing reader's theatre as one of their activities.

     State Cross Country

Congratulations to Romy who came 22nd out of 79 runners with a time of 12 minutes 23 seconds. The Under 11 girls team came 3rd overall.  It was fantastic day and a great achievement!

    P&C

    Year 6 Netball BBQ

This past Saturday, the Year 6 Graduation Fundraising Team took to the Waverley Netball Courts - and what a day it was! Despite the early morning rain, the students put in a great effort and the results were impressive.

Well done Year 6, you have a few more cake stalls to go, so keep up the incredible work!

Why Do Year 6 Students Fundraise?

For those new to the school, our Year 6 students fundraise throughout the year to help cover the costs of their graduation celebrations. This includes their graduation dinner and dance, a special day out (with transport), the Yearbook, and more.

Their tireless efforts ensure that every Year 6 student can enjoy the same memorable experience as they graduate from Bondi Beach Public School, regardless of individual circumstances.

    Co-curricular Activities

The school has a number of different programs students can access outside of school hours. Some are free and some attract a cost. Click the link below to find out what's available and who to contact for more information.

    REDed Dance

Good Luck to each of the Bondi Beach Show Troupes performing this weekend at The Ultimate Dance Competition. We are so excited for them to get to showcase their talents and joy for dance in their upcoming performance.
